I first heard both Rock Therapy and Whistle Bait as essential elements of the repertoire of a band called Charlie Burton and Rock Therapy, back in '79. Charlie wasn't a rockabilly revivalist, he just loved the songs. Charlie's son Matt is a dedicated WFMU listener.

Takes me back to the 70’s when as a kid I’d sneak out w/ friends and a few beers out to the stretch of road and watch the older guy street race ( mostly Mopars - Roadrunners, Challengers etc. and a few Mustangs and Camaros )
Cars were much more interesting, quirky and colorful then.

@Ken: I'm bit further north then that, and since the only analysis of the Everglades I do is the botanic, and ichthyological biochemical mapping, I have no first-hand accounts. Usually, reptiles will just go into hibernation mode, and will survive unless it gets seriously cold (although I've seen dead anoles here)
