That transition where Diane's theme music goes into that little snippet that connects the two of you and then "Mr. Giant Man" plays is genuinely one of the highlights of my week. It's just so classic WFMU

  3:42pm
MUWFInMA:

give the drummer a Fall stream for crumpets sake MES envisioned as a nicotine stained broken winged deathheads moth: The moth also has numerous other unusual features. It has the ability to emit a loud squeak if irritated. The sound is produced by expelling air from its proboscis. Ok, be goodly, life is better when you fall...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm

inciting someone to leave London by telling them to "exit this Roman shell!" still knocks me out, every time. MES was the most evocative motherfucker on the planet

Passaic River Blues:

I grew up primarily a house-and-hip-hop-loving and punk-denying kid but somewhere along the line I heard “Barmy” (maybe on WVKR) and had to reorient my mind to accommodate the fact that this Fall stuff banged pretty hard and was smart and bizarre. Here’s hoping Smith is being aggressively witty and shitty to people in the great beyond.

I want to find that part of the afterlife where all the artists hang out and make things, compete, collaborate, dig and diss each other; next door to the part where they go to get away from each other. But first, I need a religion...they have all the maps.
