I went to a screening of film and video from the Lomax archive several years ago, and one of the most memorable ones was of an amazing clogger in North Carolina. It was also kind of funny because the person operating the camera set it down when it appeared that the clogging was over, but then he just kept clogging and then there was a scramble & jostling of the camera to keep filming.

Fun fact: Some of Lomax's Spanish recordings (published on Columbia) were used as source material for pieces on the Miles Davis/Gil Evans "Sketches of Spain" album (also on Columbia). The track "Saeta" definitely draws from the Lomax field recordings.
