There are new immigration regulations going into effect. My wife and I had our 2nd interview since we got married, last year. We weren't supposed to have another one until 2019, and then her citizenship path would follow. But, now, they wanted proof that we have kids, or have property together. Failing that, having each other on life insurance beneficiaries (which we are) and other financial beneficiaries. It's tre fucked. (and they want the documentation. She thinks they're biasd b/c she's a Mexi, I wouldn't put it past them.
