I just woke up after having dozed off on the floor while cuddling the cat. I dreamed an entire film. Not surprisingly, it was very surrealist.

The original Genesis was great. The brand (band) name has been sullied by their later work. Their early 70s stuff was very cool--ever so British.
  4:09am
Mark R:

I think this tune fits right in with all the Robyn Hitchcock and stuff you played in the last set.
Avatar 🦇 4:09am
Julie:

I do enjoy the commercial stuff too but it's so very different.

I don't hit this album much. I usually go for Lamb Lies Down or Wind & Wuthering

Early Genesis is the soundtrack to my college years. I wasn't in college contemporaneously with those albums. I just listened to a lot of it.

This Donovan track is stunning. This whole album...I don't even like Donovan that much, but I LOVE this album. It's over 50 years old, and I still play it a lot.
  4:23am
arrow apple:

I like that Genesis had a song mentioning, "in the future, people will be shorter in height, therefore, we can fit more in the same building site." Played it nonstop during the housing collapse.
  4:29am
Mark R:

This Maheekats track is beautiful--not familiar with them (her).
  4:31am
Mark R:

They faded that track just when it was getting really good--fuckers!
  4:41am

For some reason the only John Foxx record I have is some single from the 80s, and I hardly ever even buy singles. I hear the Damned are going to release a new album in 2018!
