	10:33am βrian: Are there still many standard transmissions in the UK? They're almost extinct in the US. A friend bought a standard Mazda and the staff at the dealership couldn't drive it up from the back lot, She had to do it herself.

	10:37am annie: had to step out for a few minutes, a friend dropped by for a game of go; i like to oblige him, he's a beginning player. but he had to go, so i'm listening again.

No turn signals (had to stick your hand out the window) and if you see the hole in the chrome bumper it was for a crank which you could use to get it started if the battery was low. I know I'm dating myself! "Made in Dagenham" is a good film set in a British Ford factory.

	11:05am Dean: A long time ago, though, when Poobah in Pasadena was in its early location on Walnut, I was received thus: "Here comes the guy who pays my salary." I was single, without kids. It's a memory I cherish, but I don't expect to relive the experience.

	11:14am Dean: As was, for a brief time, East Side Records in Los Feliz. One weekend I left that store with, I kid you not, 50 discounted CDs, some of which remain sealed in the collection. Whoa! Bates Motel! I worked in a record store with a woman who was friends with them.

No turn signals (had to stick your hand out the window) and if you see the hole in the chrome bumper it was for a crank which you could use to get it started if the battery was low. I know I'm dating myself! "Made in Dagenham" is a good film set in a British Ford factory.
