Of course I understand that for many it's just a necessary evil. Most people are not salesmen, and we don't like pitching; I've been there when it comes to seeking donations, it's embarrassing. However, some of you guys perform in a style that's just looking for an excuse to go nuts for a good cause -- doing stuff that would be embarrassing on its own, but where that embarrassment is neutralized by the embarrassment of fundraising. So, for example, it's the Weirdos' excuse to get drunk and act like it. For the rest of you, we understand it's a worthy sacrifice for your art that we enjoy.
