An apt poem for today: Doctor Foster went to Gloucester in a shower of rain. Stepped in a puddle up to his middle; never went there again.

@Joe I didn't get in to the Saturday night show with Peter Walker, but I saw a lot of the sets around town over the weekend (Don Bekoff, Joseph Allred, etc.). @Rob KFJC might have his set archived. They were recording for much of the weekend and streamed Saturday and Sunday night.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:05am steveo:

Thanks for the intel, Joe; Hard to blame them, having to do 3 shows. yeah i though the band sounded great, too. I liked the long guitar freak-out that melded into a disco beat. SO NOW.

@BUK: Your mention of scones got the ball rolling, and my wife made her famous pear-ginger scones this weekend. The gentle heat of the ginger really enhances the pears. No buttermilk on hand, so she improvised with whole yogurt. Lovely.

To even have visited there was a spiritual pilgrimage; the Keepers of the Sonic Archives let me in there!

"The Storehouse is a multi-disciplinary arts space run by Penny Duff and Michael Slaboch at their home in rural SW Michigan."

" It’s also a BYOB & potluck event so please feel free to bring food and drinks to share with everyone as we celebrate springtime in Harbor Country."

Not that Steve Gunn songwriter stuff isn't great in it's own right, but I find myself enjoying these jammy duets even more.
