@Meghan: These are fun too: boiled sweets with a real kick to them. You can stuff a packet into 2/3 of a bottle of vodka and after a couple of days at room temperature they dissolve, leaving a black liquid. Stick it in the freezer and it's lovely and syrupy www.hongkong.fi...

I had they perform at a Festival I put together. They are the nicest group of people. Jeff was my initial contact and he's great. Kamala has such an amazing voice... it's so powerful! The first song off the new album is like- woah! seriously?!

He was OK, I guess, but I preferred the earlier 120 Min. VJ who reminded me just a little tiny bit of Morrissey (without the militant veganism obviously because that would really put a crimp in your VJing). But I'm terrible w/faces so that association may have never made a lick of sense.

When I was in grad school, and just moved to NYC (2000-2003), I was hitting about 10 shows a week (sometimes, multiple per night), and would be studying/grading my student's papers during the show.
