Toyed with vinyl, but no, I went for CD. I prefer vinyl to CD, but it's a complicated story, involving space considerations, room acoustics, practical opportunities to listen carefully, and kids.

Exactly, it's more likely I'll drop a CD on the tray--used to have a slot-loaded thing that I abhorred--rather than attend to LPs, particularly when I'm cooking.
