Amanda I'm glad you're here...today I learned that Ladybugs on blu-ray costs $128.98 on Amazon. Do you think it's worth it?
Roger Roger:

Opening with Mel Henke, bold move, and well played at that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14am

@M$, I am really so happy Ladybugs is even available on Blu_ray. I say go for it.

The Henke is going out to all you swingers out there. Heads, too, y not.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38am
Franco Twinkie:

Sraight Records much different than Mercury.

Hola! No Colombo Time this evening?
Avatar 12:39am

Actually it's not all right to not know about Columbo
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am

It almost went there, @rw, until I realized I had to stop myself!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am
Franco Twinkie:

Rw! How goes it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41am

Current obsession is Peter Falk's lifelong bromance with MASH's Wayne Rogers... discuss...
roger roger:

Go Eugene! We need to get him at Monty Hall!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44am

LOL! Eugene totally dropped an F-bomb at the end of the song, which I dumped.

FT! Going okay. Busy week. Working on one of the most tedious jobs I've had maybe ever. As in beating one's head against a wall, it will feel better once it's over! You?

Not expecting much I went to see Shockabilly in the early '80s and have been a fan of Eugene ever since. Been to a few shows where my friends and I were half the audience.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48am
Franco Twinkie:

Back in the saddle. Monday crapola up the ying-yang. Rewarded myself with a bowl of Blang Blang noodles on the way home. All is good now.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49am

Aha, it's 24-hour party person Sean G representin'
Avatar 12:51am

Now I'm imagining Peter Falk was into the Manchester scene
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51am
Franco Twinkie:

Having Eugene cover one of your songs is a special kind of complement, I guess. I love his version of 7&7 Is.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53am

@Franco, I'm sure! @david, he got up to a lot we have no idea

Worked at the Skirball Museum today where a Jim Henson exhibition just opened. My assistant who's 40 yrs old was going nuts in the Dark Crystal section.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55am
Franco Twinkie:

Sean Ryder channels Peter Falk.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56am

I'm realizing how good it is that I go onto this comments board and basically force people to talk about Peter Falk.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56am
Franco Twinkie:

We call it the Screwball Museum for no good reason.

They're all a little screwball for one reason or another.

have been humming this tune lately
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59am

@witzend, that is nice to hear.
Avatar 1:00am

Scharpling mentioned Columbo a few weeks ago, how the high-tech ploys have aged hilariously

Okay, back to the tedium. Thanks Amanda! Later kids! I'll be listening but need to keep myself off this comments board!

Hello all.

For years I worked at Universal and they had Colombo's car parked outside one of the bungalows. At the time it was just another piece of hollywood junk but now I wish I had taken a picture of it. Regrets
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13am

Oh man! I wonder if (I hope) somebody bought that car after seeing it. What an A+ lawn ornament it would make.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14am
Franco Twinkie:

I bet it's still there. Haven't been back to Uni in years.
Avatar 1:18am

Definitely its own General Lee, if not one better. According to the ever-reliable internet it was sold after the original run and ended up in Ohio
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:18am
Franco Twinkie:

Ha! Threw you off your game thinking about that car.

Nice segue.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20am

Pfffffffft thank you
Avatar 1:24am

Just makes me like FMU and Nazario Scenario even more
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26am

That is a very kind comment! Preesh!

I really love non-racist cars best of all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26am
Franco Twinkie:

Saw Elvis 40 years ago this month in at Hollywood High School.

Okay, so maybe I'll check back in occasionally. Amanda, did you hear Uncle Michael's last show? All songs that Elvis Costello covered. EC has really good taste.

And I'm in agreement with david_.
Avatar 1:28am

Yeah talk about not aging well, right? That puts the Puegeot way on top

And when I say really good I mean exceptional.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33am

@rw, I missed that but I shall have to check it out!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40am
Franco Twinkie:

Yay R. Stevie! I think I first learned of this very radio station through R. Stevie Moore tapes in the early '80s.
Time to check out. Thanks again Amanda! Super fun show. 'Night all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13am
Franco Twinkie:

I love this record! Del Monte Special - California yesteryear.

Wow,,,so much more entertaining to watch a Simpsons episode than have somebody tell it to you :/
Avatar 2:23am
manchester lad:

Mr Simpson, that was 10 minutes ago!

I saw Roky a few years ago at The Fonda in Hollywood. He seemed really baffled by all the people screaming out requests, but he did his best to appease his rabid fans. He still has the hair of a werewolf.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49am

That is rad. I have missed chances to see him a few times... def interested in coming to see him when he comes here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52am
Matt Fiveash:

Hey anyway this is pretty good one ehhhh
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53am
Franco Twinkie:

Yes. A national treasure for sure. His band was a bunch of kids who you could tell really loved him.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56am

Thank you all so much for listening tonight! I had joy, I had fun...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58am
