i was thinking about some of my favorite sounds, things that make me stop in my path and just HAVTA dig it. four things: a bass thumping along with a smooth tune, piano keys boogie-style, clocktower bells every quarter hour, a raging thunderstorm....these are sounds that soothe me...

An early season line from Sopranos and food matters always makes me chuckle...related to the young priest who was extra friendly with the missus and extra hungry. A tray of good leftovers is gone and Tony’s annoyed guess is that “...Monsignor Jughead was here.”

From Wikipedia:

"Jalte Badan is a 1973 Bollywood drama film about the perils of drug addiction. Kiran (Kiran Kumar) is a young man who goes to Bombay to study. While his university is caught up in a student strike, Kiran descends into drug use, encouraged by an evil mobster and the peer pressure of his fellow students. Kiran's only hope is that a kindly cabaret dancer Malti (Padma Khanna) will take pity on him and call for his snake charmer girlfriend (Kum Kum) to rescue him with her true love."
