Hello Doug, early visit because the birds are returning to the nest this weekend for Lili's birthday and listening could be fragmented.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:34am Webhamster Henry:

So please to see you, Webhamster Henry. Welcome!
  10:35am Listener Gregory:

Also note that Louis's alleged birthday is July 4, next Wednesday. WKCR will hold their annual first birthday celebration for him. Then on Aug 4 they celebrate his actual birthday. That is just how it should be.

After my shower, most of the rash dissipated. From now on, I must wear work gloves when wrangling bamboo! (never had this problem w/ other species).

@Doug: I remember when I sang it, I was horrible and my voice cracked as I was so nervous, but I finally got myself together (I restarted), and all went well....
Avatar 10:38am annie:

i tend to listen to Louis's rare stuff. my favorite of his is "If". i wonder if my disdain for him is a result of that ken burns thing all those years ago. i'm not mean, just irrationally opinionated.

@Jeff: Alfred J. Gallodoro, was an American jazz clarinetist and saxophonist, who performed from the 1920s up until his death. He is notable for having played lead alto sax with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra and bass clarinet for 12 years with the NBC Symphony Orchestra under Arturo Toscanini. Bandleader Jimmy Dorsey praised him as "the best sax player who ever lived."
