	12:26pm Tamar: I was outside on the deck as we came near the Statue of Liberty. A lot of people had been talking the whole time, which was annoying, but when we got close, there was a hush that matched the music you were creating down below. I'm sure everyone was thinking about the contrast between the meaning of the statue and Emma Lazarus's words (added later, but still way before any of us were born) and the current dreadful treatment our government has been inflicting on asylum seekers and other migrants of various levels of documentation.

	12:26pm Tamar: I was outside on the deck as we came near the Statue of Liberty. A lot of people had been talking the whole time, which was annoying, but when we got close, there was a hush that matched the music you were creating down below. I'm sure everyone was thinking about the contrast between the meaning of the statue and Emma Lazarus's words (added later, but still way before any of us were born) and the current dreadful treatment our government has been inflicting on asylum seekers and other migrants of various levels of documentation.
