i got that Toni Basil album when i found it for a buck in a used book store. i didn't hate it but it didn't stick to my ribs either. i had to hear "mickey" sung to me a lot by a girlfriend who nicknamed me something that rhymes with mickey.

@coelacanth∅ Although I think some of the DK's later work is worth listening to... maybe it's just coming to it as a young'un who discovered them in retrospect way past when they were recording as opposed to having been a fan from the get-go. I still prefer the earlier stuff, but I'll put on Frankenchrist or Bedtime for Democracy from time to time and be perfectly fine with it.
