  12:06am phat:

someone needs to figure out what band has the most songs about rock or rockin'

I think it's AC/DC

Also, 4th of July is a perfect rock and roll song. Dave Alvin still doesn't get enough credit.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07am suzyhotrod:

Hey listeners! Thanks for coming back for another Rock and Roller Derby installment. I will never tire of the rockin'-ness of ACDC
  12:08am phat:

oh! I love AC/DC
  12:09am Fashion Tashjian:

Good morning from Armenia. Wow, in the past 2 days I heard Radiohead and now Weezer on fmu. Not complaining as both are/were great bands, but this is surprising.))
  12:10am Mike VL:

Whoa. First time I've heard the Blue album on FMU! Enjoying the show so far Suzy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15am suzyhotrod:

That Weezer song just always reminds me of summer!
  12:16am phat:

digging the set
Avatar 12:25am northguineahills:

I was happy to find there was a flat-rack roller derby team here in Gainesville, FL, after moving from Booklyn. Go suzyhotrod, go! (one of many reasons this cultural oasis surrounded by derp thrills me, even played a few shows and djed....)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28am suzyhotrod:

Yes, to all listeners, it is true. There is likely a roller derby league in your home town. That's awesome you've seen the league in Gainesville, FL.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35am Aitch:

Love this show. Cheers from Oz
  12:37am Agent Peter:

Also try cut & paste!!
  12:37am daveS:

great show, Suzy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37am Henry in Hopatcong:

muy bueno La Araña
  12:39am Agent Peter:

It's pretty much impossible not to dig this show. Hope you do a show with Bill from Teenage Wasteland during the next marathon. That would undoubtedly rock.
Avatar 12:39am northguineahills:

@suzyhotrod: Met a woman that plays here. I need to go see it. Had fun watching the Brooklyn Bombshells at CUNY-Hunter was always fun (had a few members on my McCaren kickball team that skated for Brooklyn).

Will fade by 1ish, thanks again suzyhotrod!
  12:39am rw:

Tyrannosaurus... think tyrant and go from there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am suzyhotrod:

What is this wizardy of technology you speak of? Cut and Paste..?!! ;)
  12:42am Sir Slouch:

You ever try King Uszniewicz and the Uszniewicztones?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42am suzyhotrod:

SEXY SLAYDIE!!! Kickball and Roller Derby star
  12:42am Daybreak the Teacher.:

Henry the Thurs W&B Man! What doing up? Late night owl?

Suzythehotrod great show, but I only got here 15 min ago, needed listening while prepping the kids camp lunches. So much easier as I move slow when awake, and sloth when just woke.

Also spelling is hard these days even for the 15 year English HS Teacher whose AP kids just kicked ass in their scores. Keep rockin’!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43am suzyhotrod:

King Uszniewicz and the Uszniewicztones, I need to check this band out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45am suzyhotrod:

I am very happy to provide the soundtrack to lunch packing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47am Henry in Hopatcong:

@Daybreak, howdy! Rockin along to Suzy's fine show.
  12:47am Sir Slouch:

Im sure WFMU has some copies
Avatar 12:50am northguineahills:

@suzyhotrod: Are you that suzyhotrod???!!! (from watching the roller derby fun) (brain finally turned on again)(when not in person w/ my wife, we'd watch on latenight tv).
  1:01am Daybreak the Teacher.:

Tarintino intro-ed me to this, so always tied in my mind to the film. Sooo simple and chilling.
Thanks for the response to Henry and Suzy.
Avatar 1:02am northguineahills:

danks und schoens, suzyrod, Been digging your show this summer!
Avatar 1:02am northguineahills:

errr...suzyhotrod! :)
Avatar 1:03am northguineahills:

Fave sndrk of mine...!!!
  1:03am Daybreak the Teacher.:

From Nancy to Punk! It’s been brought!!!
  1:03am Agent Peter:

Is this going to be the FMU show where we finally hear some Alice Donut? It's like there's a conspiracy or something...
  1:04am Daybreak the Teacher.:

Dance NJ! Dance now...
Avatar 1:04am northguineahills:

@Agent Peter: bug Clay Pigeon, that's your best chance...
  1:08am Daybreak the Teacher.:

Don’t count Suzy out on the Alice Donut. If not this set maybe in a future one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10am suzyhotrod:

I can look into this Alice Donut conspiracy and consider it for future shows
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17am diciassette aka ratón:

Ooo just in time for JT. The Right to be Italian!
  1:18am Agent Peter:

I don't want to distract Clay from playing the Minutemen, something he does an excellent job of.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31am suzyhotrod:

@diciasette, later in the show I've got a new record out on Norton of Dolls demos
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33am diciassette aka ratón:

I'll be glued to the set, then!
Avatar 1:58am Diezel Tea:

Good morning derbyers. My first introduction to Alice Donut was on a DK tribute album on AltTenticles. I think I was 15 and getting deep into "experimental" music but still listening to punk & metal. I didn't think Alice Donut sounded weird enough for me. As an adultish thing now, I appreciate how bizarre AD was.
  2:02am Daybreak the Teacher.:

Ack! 2am?!? 7:30 will come early!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09am diciassette aka ratón:

I'm really curious about Alice Donut. I recorded a CD that someone lent me on one side of a tape years ago (the other side had Tree People), and I do remember that they were quite weird, but I was more into the Tree People side.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15am suzyhotrod:

Get ready people, if you were surprised by Weezer on WFMU, I'm going to play Guns and Roses and get black listed from something.
Avatar 2:18am Srđo (Sergio, Serge) in Serbia:

do anything you wanna do
Avatar 2:19am Diezel Tea:

Mi ara, Suzy jan! Well, at least it's not November Rain))
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:19am suzyhotrod:

WELL. It does appear that someone at least once has played something from Appetite. So there ya go.
  2:20am Daybreak the Teacher.:

Listening while lunch packing. Now listening during teeth brushing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22am Goyim in the AM:

After 15 seconds, the GNR song cut out and my radio played a pre-recorded announcement that the EU Hipster Commission was investing the unironic programming of unauthorized butt metal. I think we're in trouble.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25am diciassette aka ratón:

A Hard Night's Day is the best way to listen to the Dolls, if you don't have a time machine, I think.
  2:27am Daybreak the Teacher.:

If you want a “night train” train sandwich find Public Enemy’s “night train”. I know Clay keeps ‘Fear of a Black Planet’ around. But maybe ‘Apocalypse 91 the Enemy Strikes Black’ is around too?
  2:33am Daybreak the Teacher.:

Good morning and good night!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33am suzyhotrod:

Mmmm nightrain sandwich. the late night shift makes me want to eat a 2nd dinner.
Avatar 2:34am Diezel Tea:

@Goyim hahaha, beautiful!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:36am suzyhotrod:

I'm totally fine with butt metal alerts. So long as the actual music hasn't stopped, carry on! I can't fix any actual technical issues
Avatar 2:39am Srđo (Sergio, Serge) in Serbia:

Steel Panther - Death To All But(t) Metal
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59am suzyhotrod:

Goodnight listener land! I'll see you next week!
  5:57pm Mark in Toronto:

Listening to your show from the future, and enjoying it. Are you familiar with the band Blood on the Saddle? I think you'd enjoy their first album.
