For the last 2 months we have gotten less than one inch per month, which is basically desert amounts of pricipitation (<10 inches per year=desert conditions0. I think my lawn is dying.

Once, one of them was apparently curious while I was out on a walk/break, and I nearly walked in on them taking turns listening to my headphones, going 'WHAT. THE. HELL!'. I ducked out of sight and made a noisier entrance and they were back at their desks, nonchalantly. The thing that was playing was S.P.K.'s The Agony of the Plasma.

He'd walk by and say, outraged, "He played the Windows 95 startup sound over and over for 45 minutes!!!!" My reaction was, "Yeah, wasn't that great?!" Him: "NO!!!!"

	♥ 2:58pm Rich in Washington: When I was really young, I worked the nightshift in an industrial paint shop. I had a boombox in my area and would play stuff like Einsturzende Neubauten, Butthole Surfers, Eugene Chadbourne, really loud. Once I went to get some materials and my boss, upon hearing the latter, a screechy rake solo, thought a piece of machinery was breaking down and in a panic, couldn't figure out how to turn off my tape player, so in a panic, he threw it across the room. He was really apologetic afterwards, and even offered to replace my boombox.

I had a boombox in my area and would play stuff like Einsturzende Neubauten, Butthole Surfers, Eugene Chadbourne, really loud. Once I went to get some materials and my boss, upon hearing the latter, a screechy rake solo, thought a piece of machinery was breaking down and in a panic, couldn't figure out how to turn off my tape player, so in a panic, he threw it across the room. He was really apologetic afterwards, and even offered to replace my boombox.
