It's entirely possible P. Diddy just called himself that for awhile.
  3:41pm

was diddy in konk or liquid liquid?
  3:42pm
Aggravation Overdose:

Diddy was briefly in Missing Foundation. He came up with their logo.

I once met Peter Missing, without knowing who he was. Because I was wearing a WFMU T-shirt, he told me he remembered playing a set at the station in its Upsala days

@Ultradamno: Thanks, I'll check it out later
I should have been obvious to me who he was (he was even wearing the logo), but I didn't known about Missing Foundation at the time, only checked them out after that meeting. Must have been annoying to him that I hadn't heard of them, more embarrassing for me though

@fred: Artists are weird. I bought something off of Craigslist and it ended up being from an artist I know but have utterly no respect for. Decent deal. But when I casually mentioned I was family with his work, he said “Oh! Give me $20 more and I will autograph it for you!” and I said, “Nah.” And he was visibly pissed.

Anyway, the weather is weird outside. Anyone pay attention to the direction wind and clouds? In NY/NJ it’s like all the clouds are circling. It’s screwy!
  4:19pm
JakeGould:

Is Crazy Doberman’s logo this? i.pinimg.com...

JR:

What was the music playing in the background while the DJ was taliking?
Avatar 4:21pm
Linda Lee:

cloud formations are wacky in recent years. anyone conscious of the clouds for any length of time will say the same. just a matter of observation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm
fred:

@Jake: Peter Missing never gave me any impression he was pissed off, it's just me thinking he must have been
Avatar 4:23pm
Linda Lee:

art is weird in recent years too! imagine having to promote a totally imaginary brand..

FWIW, it was only in the last 5 years that I realized what the Missing Foundation logo meant.

@Linda That would have been better, as I recall they just get chased around a mall by the dogs. I think it's better known as Trapped.

oh yes definitely! not a problem. i've digitized a number of my 80s mix tapes recently. as long as the tape plays, you can digitize. i clean up the sound with the free audacity program.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm

Avatar 5:41pm
Linda Lee:

me, i used a t-cord from a stereo receiver ~ left & right male rca plugs from the stereo receiver into the mini-jack on the computer. so you need a stereo receiver/tape deck & a computer with a mini plug jack. hit 'record' in your audio software program & record your wave file, mix & go! i'm sure there are other ways worked out, but i like this one.
