  5:24pm melinda:

Hi all
  5:41pm Kevin in Urbana:

I've still never been to Berlin but just finished watching Babylon Berlin last night and really I'm a little shook.
  5:42pm tooplin:

  5:45pm J:

He forgot "back issues of National Geographic: 3 years worth"
Avatar 5:45pm jgrosch:

@kevin read "Before the Deluge: A Portrait of Berlin in the 1920s" by Otto Friedrich. "Babylon Berlin" is more or less an accurate portrait of Berlin before the shit hit the fan
  5:46pm Kevin in Urbana:

Thanks @jgrosch! I wondered about that.
Avatar 5:51pm KP:

Hello, Samantha, from the steamy heck hole that is our nation’s capital.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm northguineahills:

True, jgosch. Good read and series...
Avatar 6:30pm geezerette:

Georg Grozs' autobiography also good. Don't remember title.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:32pm northguineahills:

Yes, everything Treasure Isle Recs is gold! Most of mone have strips of vinyl falling off, and I even have one where the label is off-center which makes for an awesome facsimile of a run-out groove.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:35pm northguineahills:

Second new to me Sun Ra Cover I'ver heard in the last few days on WFMU!
Avatar 6:51pm geezerette:

  7:36pm Tee Ess:

Went on a road trip to Jalama Beach from Long Beach CA last week and listened to Hazy Daisy 7-21 show. Family protested occasionally, but I think they grew to like it, especially the breadth of genres. “Is this still the same show?” they remarked several times.
  7:46pm Carmichael:

Heya Samantha and peeps. Smoky day here in the Capitol city.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:53pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I was playing a fresh archive of Carol's show in the car, but on low volume. Broken up by Porest's "Passport, Please" as we approached the Canadian border.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:55pm karlward:

Hot jamz. With a z. That's how it is.
Avatar 7:57pm geezerette:

Gorgeous show Samantha. :)
  8:00pm Kevin in Urbana:

Thank you Samantha!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49am listener james from westwood:

Listening via the archive and was pumped to hear Chemical Brothers! Late-90s/early 00s drum and bass is a lingering fave era of mine.
