Intrinsically curated, the music on this program—exclusively vinyl played on Technic 1200 M3D turntables—presents an illuminating collection of other-worldly grooves, beats, and sounds. Host Kim Sorise honors the jazz innovators, beat conductors, soul senders, and mind benders that traverse our musical and auditory landscapes. Grease for all. In music we trust.

I had a dream over the weekend in which I was a schoolteacher, and it was my first dream ever based in a school in like 30 years in which I didn't wander around looking for my classroom, or locker, or the exit, or have to take a test for which I hadn't studied. Just walked straight to my class and wrote my name out for my kids. Amazing.

Hi Kim and James! Nice to hear some Sun Ra!

That’s awesome! I do wish that folks didn’t have seeded fear-based dreams about school. I think that’s something I try to flip the script on with parent’s experiences in schools etc by give their teen something different - but I think independent schools were found in essence to rethink that authoritarian / empty vessel style of education.
