This layering/ mixing here is just wonderful. Really enjoying the set this morning. Hearing sonic stasis and swirling motion all at once! Thanks- (And that Jun Arasaki and Nine Sheep has been one of my total favorite records of the summer. Glad to hear it played in this new context. I had tossed that tune on three different mix tapes made for friends last month).

DR. D comes up here once a year to do his annual series of lectures at his Alma Mater Reed College and even comes down the the station I DJ at pretty frequently, but I have yet to ever cross his path in the real world. I would like to meet him - just haven't yet.
