Listener comments!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03am Listener Baby:

Dear Baby. I feel compelled to let you know that I can no longer listen to your radio show. Saturday morning is not the time I want to be totally entertained, rocked, and educated. Saturdays are also not the time to listen to ANY insightful opinions critical of our wonderful politcal sitiuation. Lastly, I prefer to listen to any prank phone calls on Sunday, not Saturday. Therefore, I will no longer be donating money to WFMU> Until the next fundraiser. Yours, Disgruntled Baby. Oh.. and LIVE FROM JERSEY CITY, IT'S THE MICHAEL SHELLEY SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm Bill in W.O.:

I'm guessing this post-dates the swell version that Dave D. did with Dave Stuckey on their Dave and Deke Combo record from back in the 90's somewheres or another. Worth looking for. Kinda like I keep looking in vain for a copy of that Chris Skaggs record Honky Tonkin' Lifestyle - darn you Michael for putting me onto that wild goose chase!

I just looked up stuff about MAD's musical efforts (to find out when this was from), and it said King Curtis plays sax on "It's a Gas." Really?

Where is Bucky?!?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm Listener Baby:

First song first volume. Still the best.
  12:45pm Hackensack Slim:

Here's my guess. You lost at pool Basketball. The payoff was you had to play that crappy Bad Intruder song. Of course I've been wrong before. Otherwise another fine show.
  12:47pm STUMPY:

Thankyou kindly.
  12:53pm paul:

Old people. Ha.
