i don't remember what dragonfruit tasted like, though i remember it not tasting a lot....like carambola. (starfruit) very pretty but i described it at the time as like an orange without the tartness and less sweet...which doesn't leave much.
it'd make an excellent garnish for ice-cream or cake.

VV was one way of looking at the Village/NYC from the 1950s on, thru so many eras of culture and politics; it was a bit more mainstream than me, but a sort of mirror of this city. The music ads, for one, were always checked.

in the mid 90s i was seeing a city dweller who always had a full itinerary of shows (usually "punk" oriented) we were going to check out when i came in to see her. i think most of her info came via the voice. that's the most i've ever used it.
