"Well, put a candle in the window mother, we're on our way!" Taken from the movie, The Big Cube, 1968 starring Lana Turner.

Roller Derby should have been the national sport instead of baseball
  1:50pm mic_breaker:

I remember ESPN tried to bring roller derby back in the 1980s -- I watched it pretty regularly, 'cause, hey, roller derby. The (high-bank) track action was good, but they had it too junked up with WWF style play-acting. Oh, those nutty 1980s.
Avatar 2:03pm Mailman Tom:

I spent many a night at Village Skating, an underground roller rink that was located in downtown Manhattan. The floor was a large oval shape with a wood floor. Fun times!
  2:09pm Papito:

If you look at the right heel of Touchies skate it looks like an Evil Clown Face ! A supernatural sign of Doom for our lady ? Creeps me out !

I understand yer couscous issues, but a nice oily Israeli couscous salad would change yer mind. They're like pearls.

"Bed News" sound like "Church Keys" to me.
Avatar 2:24pm Mailman Tom:

These haunted house songs remind me of the Oona Goosepimple stories in Nancy Comics.

The howling wolf is awesome

"Church Key" got a LOT of retitled 'covers' (Trashmen did it twice). Also straight-up covers. National anthem of surf bands.

Where is Suzy Hotrod at? She'd enjoy Midge and her skating style.
