Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50pm
Little Danny:

I have more jazz 45s than R&B + soul 45s combined
Avatar 10:51pm
Kris Holmes:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52pm
Little Danny:

Avatar 10:52pm
Kris Holmes:

buuuuuttttt, how much overlap is there in the jazz/exotica venn diagram?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:53pm
Little Danny:

oh a LOT, but jazz exotica 45s go in a different long box ya know
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59pm
Little Danny:

Diggin' the country-soul-rock vibe! That version of "Put It..." was instrumentally almost indistinguishable from the Crusaders' original
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:04pm
Little Danny:

I want the lost Dragon cowboy-baiting tape

Hardly any soul, super weird for me, no R&B either!!!

Dean:

I've seen Los Lobos precisely once, when they opened for Public Image Ltd. at the Olympic Auditorium (a boxing arena) in Los Angeles. However, when I worked at a public library in the east end of LA County, I saw David Hidalgo there with his kids. What a band.
Avatar 11:55pm
Kris Holmes:

i'm really looking forward to it
  11:58pm
Dean:

They were terrific, and courageous. As I recall, they wore the garb of mariachis. I don't think they went over well with the PIL crowd. (Kipper Kids also appeared, as I recall, so there's that.)
Avatar 11:59pm
Kris Holmes:

that sounds epic
