It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

The origin of the Popol Vuh "myth" is a document of ancient Mayan mythology
and culture (now Guatemala). Written in K’iche’ (a Mayan language)
mid 16th Century, it chronicles the creation of humankind.


A two hour experience with Popol Vuh, Florian Fricke’s prog-rock 19-album experiment,
alongside Can and Tangerine Dream, soundtracks for Werner Herzog, early Moog work,
and trippy journeys that influenced artists from Radiohead to Freddy Mercury.

A buzzy bed created from the Nascita track off the Popol Vuh album Revisited & Remixed 1970-1999. 
Popol Vuh  Affenstunde   Favoriting Affenstunde  Liberty Records  1970  Affenstunde (Hour of the Monkey) is the first album by German band Popol Vuh. It is a notable early example of the Moog synthesizer being used for the production and composition of popular music. Florian Fricke – Moog synthesizer; Holger Trülzsch – percussion; Frank Fiedler – Synthesizer mixdown; Bettina Fricke – tablas. 
Popol Vuh  Train Through Time   Favoriting Affenstunde  SPV  2014  A bonus track on the Affenstunde re-release. 
Popol Vuh  Hosianna Mantra   Favoriting Hosianna Mantra  Pilz  1972  Hosianna Mantra is the third album by Popol Vuh. 
Popol Vuh  Einsjäger und Siebenjäger   Favoriting Einsjäger und Siebenjäger  SPV  2004  The fifth album by Popol Vuh. It was originally released in 1974 on Kosmische Musik. The album's title is a German translation of the names of two characters in the Popol Vuh legend, Hun-Hunahpu and Vucub-Hunahpu (One-Hunter and Seven-Hunter). 
 
Popol Vuh  Aguirre I   Favoriting Aguirre  PDU  1975  Aguirre is the seventh album by Popol Vuh. It contains music used in the soundtrack to Werner Herzog's film Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972).

Popol Vuh  For You and Me   Favoriting For You and Me  Milan Records  1991  For You and Me is the seventeenth album by Popol Vuh. 
Popol Vuh  Strofa 1   Favoriting Messa di Orfeo  Spalax Music  1999  Florian Fricke died in Munich in 2001, at the age of 57. His son Johannes Fricke provided much of the music in this program. Thanks to Johannes.
