Favoriting October 2, 2018: Stelvio Cipriani R.I.P.
Morricone Island pays tribute to Italian film composer giant Stelvio Cirpriani who died yesterday on October 1st at the age of 81 in Rome battling severe cerebal ischemia since December. Although Cipriani will likely be best remembered for his blockbuster 1970 score to "The Anonymous Venetian," host Devon E. Levins will highlight some of his personal favorites from career of approximately 250 film and television soundtrack credits beginning in 1966 with spaghetti western "The Bounty Killers," starring Thomas Milian.
