7:15pm ALF of Hip Hop Slam:

One of my personal favorite Hip Hop memories was simply rushing to the music store whether it was Sam Goody or Tower Records to get the latest release on cassette of a popular artist like Public Enemy or Ice Cube’s “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted” before they sold out.
  7:15pm Tall Paul:

Yo Bill Alf how are ye doing. Looking forward to a dope show

Hi Billy Jam!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm listener 126464:

This is left over from last weeks show, but in '89 Tommy Boy must've donated a couple hundred cassettes of '3 Feet High...' to FMU. They were giving them away for a couple weeks. Wore mine out. Kinda reminded me of 'After Bathing At Baxters'
7:33pm ALF of Hip Hop Slam:

Fun Fact - D-Styles did the scratches on The Unassisted

Yo Bill, do you have My Vinyl Weights a Ton by Peanut Butter Wolf? This album was my lifesaver way back in 99. As it was the dawn of bad HipHop radio crap. I was losing my head till I heard this album. Met PBW when he played in Dublin really sound and down to earth
