The lows here are mid forties last few days
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:06pm
Uncle Michael:

eight minutes is a long 45
Avatar 10:07pm
Kris Holmes:

ha, super quiet pressing

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm
Uncle Michael:

those adapters you recommended are great. thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm

I think it hit upper thirties 3 times last year. No wonder you want to go to Florida-
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:10pm

Twelve degrees, UM? You saw Kevin Bacon twice?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:12pm
coelacanth∅:

dudes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:13pm
Uncle Michael:

I think I personally am down to one degree of separation with KB.
  10:13pm
Dean:

55 here in Berkeley. Chilly. Had to turn on the wall furnace.
  10:13pm
Dean:

Making split pea soup.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14pm
coelacanth∅:

mmm
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm
Uncle Michael:

A friend of mine in Chico described Paradise as Chico's Oakland (in terms of it being where Chico's labor force lives). If that's so, I wonder what's Chico's Berkeley.
  10:18pm
Dean:

Nowadays, Berkeley's labor force lives much farther away, in Concord, Richmond, El Sobrante...

Both Chico and Berkeley (the universities, I mean) are famous for unfettered expressions of, uhm, fundamental urges.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18pm
chresti:

We haven't used the wall heater in 4 years or more.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20pm
chresti:

sounds great
  10:20pm
Dean:

I love having to drive to Concord. Top-notch Mexican food, as we've discussed, chresti.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:30pm
Uncle Michael:

How is Chuck related to William?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:31pm
Franco Twinkie:

My mom called my today sister and said she forgot how to turn on the heater. It was 78 here today, but she's a skinny old lady. I called my friend Lam who is a heat/air guy but he went home to Vietnam. He sounded really happy. I wish I was in Saigon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:34pm
Franco Twinkie:

Ray's Trio!?! On Titan no less.
Avatar 10:34pm
Kris Holmes:

no relation Chuck/William
Avatar 10:35pm
Kris Holmes:

Ray's Trio, classic Dallas Mod/Jazz
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:36pm
Uncle Michael:

Well, an awfully good impression for a non-sibling!
Avatar 10:36pm
Kris Holmes:

yeah, his real surname is Roberson so I they may have been trying to cash in there or something
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38pm
Franco Twinkie:

Before your show, Chresti was listening to something that sounded like spaceships colliding in the ass end of the solar system. I like earth music better.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38pm
Uncle Michael:

The falsetto/vibrato was spot-on.
Avatar 10:38pm
Kris Holmes:

hahaha, thanks i think?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38pm
Uncle Michael:

Jesse might hear you, Franco!
  10:38pm
chresti:

Dean - my dad and brother live in El Sobrante . My dad worked at the edmud plant by the bay bridge, not the office in Berkeley
  10:41pm
Dean:

I have a confession. Every month when I pay my Pacific Gas & Electric bill (not my EBMUD bill, chresti) I write "Fuck PG&E" on the memo line of the check. Of course, nobody at PG&E sees these checks, but it warms my heart to flip off those bastards in some vague symbolic way.
  10:42pm
chresti:

So Chico is a party place huh? UCSB has that reputation
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42pm
Uncle Michael:

Considering PG&E may have actually started this big fire, it seems like the least you can do.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm
Uncle Michael:

The thrill is gone, Kris.
  10:44pm
Dean:

Those pricks are cowering due to my memo lines!
Avatar 10:45pm
Kris Holmes:

The thrill is fading, it's pretty rare that i can walk into a record store or record fair in 2018 & get excited/find something to buy :(
  10:47pm
chresti:

Haha dean! I do a similar thing with credit card entities- writing things like “please stop being so evil!”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47pm
Franco Twinkie:

Dean, I sold a piece of property in the city of Los Angeles a while back, and it pleased me in a big way that I would no longer be paying those motherfuckers the LADWP, so I understand your impulse.
  10:48pm
chresti:

Sometimes it works
  10:50pm
chresti:

When I talk to “customer service “ I’ll ask questions like “do you have a break room with a ping pong table?”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:55pm
Uncle Michael:

I asked if they're shackled to bare metal bedframes at night.
  10:57pm
chresti:

Haha UM!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59pm
Uncle Michael:

I'm cutting off the lights, friends. Keep the ones and zeros coming my way, Kris. Thanks for the music. Night all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59pm
Franco Twinkie:

Kris, The first Sunday of the month Pasadena City College has a flea market, and as much as I try to ignore it, it's the record area that keeps calling me back, because .....you never know.
  11:00pm

Goodnight UM

  11:09pm
Dean:

The Harmonia Mundi parking lot sale on Robertson Blvd.: nothing like it ever in the history of anything and everything.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14pm
Franco Twinkie:

Dean, I missed that one. Back in ye olden tymes I would go to the Capitol Records swap that started at midnight till sunrise. Every freakoid in Hollywood usta go to that one. You Ever?
  11:17pm
Dean:

I went to the Capitol Records meet quite a bit. That's where I acquired, among other things, a number of Genesis bootlegs and the Residents' Fingerprince.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:19pm
Franco Twinkie:

This was a mainstay on KPPC in Pasadena in the early 70's. RIP Gil Scott-Heron.
