Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from December 14, 2018 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

@ LOT -- 'zactly. If someone's not familiar and has missed the not-small cultural footprint & persisting references and countless covers of a song, well, fine. But it's a reminder -- in both directions -- about characterizations and expectations...how we stretch individual experience to an assumed more-widely shared awareness or lack of it and what's in the brain-bank.

For the last 20 years, UPS wouldn't allow their drivers to take left turns (most hazardous turn), unless it was a dead end, so they would take multiple rights to their destination, They still do so....(well, they're supposed to). (UPS training in college)
