WLAC in the old days: clean, white network programs with Art Linkletter and Arthur Godfrey during the day, then wild crazy rhythm 'n' blues after 9:00pm. I doubt any other CBS affiliate stations did anything like this. I can remember hearing John R and Hoss Allen at night only a couple of times in the early 1970s. I searched the AM dial at night a lot in the 1960s and 1970s.
