make the nachos in multiple layers. each layer gets all ingredients except for high moisture items like salsa and onions. those go on the top layer to avoid making the lowers soggy. use thinly sliced cerrano or jalapeno instead of canned peppers, which have too much water and are tainted with vinegar. do not use anything with hababero on nachos or use habanero in nacho ingredients. keep that as a condiment if you like it. use cerrano or jalapeno peppers on nachos. refried beans are better to use on nachos, whole beans fall off and have too much water.

I'm a card-carrying (Beatles [USA] Ltd.) Beatlemaniac. But I'm with Clarke on Beatles vs. Beach Boys on a desert island. We have already memorized the Beatles canon and analyzed within an inch of its life. But we can always find a detail in the harmonies or orchestration of the Beach Boys that we haven't noticed.

I imagine many if not most here are familiar with the Martin Scorsese anecdote about watching the Last Waltz Neil Young footage and realizing in Neil's schnozz sat the world's largest coke booger. Being a time of pre-computer editing, doctoring it amounted to about $50,000, causing Scorsese to term it "the most expensive coke I ever purchased."

A nice alternative nachos topper is barbecue pulled pork. However if you prefer to stick with ground beef, the key is avoiding the pointlessly taste-free so-called taco seasoning and instead use Old Bay seafood seasoning. It does not turn beef into fish, but it does add plenty of good and fitting flavor

I must admit - I like the packaged seasoning (though I purposely have never looked at the list of ingredients) - but Old Bay sounds nice too

Twas that tune indeed. We probably ruined it. Was the Roxy as I remember. Though we played the Palomino, and my amp blew up.

I can't even express in words how much I hated that Replacements documentary. A bunch of insufferable beard guys talking pretentiously about a band who's very existence was based on being unpretentious. Awful. You're not wrong about the Last Waltz and Robertson.
Nacho tip: use whole pinto beans and utilize all the canned liquid on the chips.

Also, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Amazon. It's completely delightful. Derry Girls on Netflix is also pretty brilliant.
