Some trivia I just remembered: When I was a teenager, one of the Isley Brothers started and didn't finish building a big house...near Teaneck, which the label was named for. It was a foundation and piles of rubble for a long time. It became a hangout, partly because it was fun to say "meet you at the Isley Brothers house!"

That’s why I love this historical downtown part of Pensacola. Same latitude. 3 hours from Nola. Similar architecture, similar food. Colorful, artful, but less crowded than Nola. And, when you need the fix, it’s a quick trip!
