	11:30pm coelacanth∅: Franco this is my 10th (?) volvo and in only one of them (the newest one, a 1993 960 model) the a/c worked. i usually take most of the a/c machinery out anyway, but this one didn't come with a/c. - it did come with numerous problems. but yes the heat works.

	11:39pm Franco Twinkie: My first Volvo was a '64 122s wagon. Basically a tractor on a car chassis. easy to work on, but would vapor lock in hot weather and stall out in heavy rain, but I was young, and jumping out and pushing was no big deal. I loved that car.

	11:41pm coelacanth∅: Johnzon it does, which i'm okay with. it's very slight. i used my sister's fancy omega to pick up her son from an airport a few weeks ago and it sucked. even though i turned the seat heat off it still was always warm. (that car really sucks in many ways)

	11:44pm Little Danny: I had an Aussie ex GF who got me hooked on vegemite on buttered toast. Still love it to this day. I love the salty end of the spectrum in general tho
	11:45pm coelacanth∅: the 122 was one of the first cars i ever was infatuated with! my friend Orest got one around 1981 he had it running beautifully. the oldest one i've had was a '69 164. great car but in the end (after 14 years) it was to be too expensive for me to fix.

	11:54pm coelacanth∅: oh man some beauties in there Danny. by the name i thought it was a swedish volvo-tractor-rod site! (the swedish boys before they're old enough to drive cars are allowed to drive tractors on the streets, so they make hot rods out of tractors; and tractors out of volvos!)
	11:54pm Franco Twinkie: That grill was a true Volvo oddity! It didn't last long.
	11:55pm Little Danny: Yeah, I love the rounded corners softening what is otherwise like the boxiest car of all time
	11:56pm Franco Twinkie: I drove a Volvo tilt cab stake bed a few times. Basically configured like a Mack, but easier to handle.

	11:57pm coelacanth∅: 69 Danny. i bought a 73 for parts, coincidentally, and strangely most parts besides the body were not interchangeable. (and the body was mostly rotted ot). i did get 2 year's use out of it though. much quicker than the 69 but top speed of around 80; whereas i routinely brought the 69er to 110mph, with 3 large passengers!

	11:57pm coelacanth∅: 69 Danny. i bought a 73 for parts, coincidentally, and strangely most parts besides the body were not interchangeable. (and the body was mostly rotted ot). i did get 2 year's use out of it though. much quicker than the 69 but top speed of around 80; whereas i routinely brought the 69er to 110mph, with 3 large passengers!
