	12:28pm tim from champaign: @ Kat and John - I hate to tell you that I'm no longer in Champaign. haha. I'm outside of Tacoma now and work across the Puget Sound from Seattle so it's sunny and 50 today. I feel for my midwest bredren and sistren though. Stay warm and cozy!
	12:31pm tim from champaign: The coldest I've ever experienced was -13 in Kalamazoo MI in 1994. I think this week's weather beats that temp. I remember that I was told I needed to report to work that day and I was too dumb to say I'm not coming in. I didn't have a car so I had to walk a about 1.5 miles. I remember the batteries on my walkman freezing up after about 5 minutes in the cold.

I'm a music teacher. School was cancelled today but I had a few students who wanted to come in and practice(!) I wish they were all that dedicated!

The coldest I've ever been was when I was living in Deerfield, Illinois in jr high out waiting for the bus in -5 windchill. Happy to be living in sunny San Diego now where it's almost always perfect.
