They should have just called it Contemporary while it was being produced and then eventually come up with something thoughtful, but who dare call the intelligentsia foolish.

	♥ 10:16am crateslinger: The most distinctive aspect of the Modern Art era, as opposed to the Post-Modern era, or any other for that matter, is the fascination with the future. Think of 1950's consumerism and late 19th century Science Fiction. These things are now "Modern" forever.

It would suck standing around like waiting for a drug dealer or whatever but this weather is fine for now.

This is the Modern World with Trouble welcomes Jennifer Higgie, author of The Other Side, a Story of Women in Art and the Spiritual World. Jennifer Higgie is an Australian writer living in London. She wrote fabulously for Frieze Magazine for over 2 decades, is a curator and hosted the podcast Bow Down. In honor of The Other Side coming out in paperback in the US, Jennifer and trouble will discuss women artists, seances and spiritualism.
