  10:02am Morphe':

THANKS SLRMcDOWELL and RL!!!!!! Makes me think of my 1980s in Brixton and only 3 cassetees in the kitchen of the squat(King Tubby and Prince Rast...)

Avatar 10:38am northguineahills:

Ok, this WEO has escaped my notice, how!!!??? it's amazing!
Avatar 10:42am mb:

Yes this WEO took a nice turn midway. Great selection.
Avatar 10:44am Wild Neil||Peace All:

WEO sounds like King Crimson noodling around at times. Clicky star for sure.
Avatar 10:49am Wild Neil||Peace All:

So I went snowboarding. Five trips down the hill from 6-8:30 which is a new record for me. The last time I only went 5 times. You see, my board at 165cm doublewide is much much much too FAST for me so I go side to side all the time. Its so damn scary! But I do it. On one trip, my neck snapped backwards and went *SNAP*. My partner in crime, my godfather, said "wow, you usually have to pay a chiropractor for that!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:49am coelacanth∅:

good morning Scott & all
Avatar 10:49am Wild Neil||Peace All:

Last time: 4 times down the hill I meant.
Avatar 10:54am Wild Neil||Peace All:

Doublewide K2 snowboard. Orange and blue. Super cool retro 1995 looking. From my 6'4" nephew.
Avatar 10:55am AnAnonymousParty:

"I was Snow boarding" and "heard neck snap" are not phrases I like to hear together in the same sentence. Glad it was all part of a fun day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00am kuba:

my disk dislocated silently :(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01am coelacanth∅:

we're less than 48 hours into the year of the pig, so that's not saying all that much!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01am Scott McDowell:

Guess not! Haha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03am doctorjazz:

Ahhh, Trane! (didn't Radar say something like that once?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07am tim from champaign:

Howdy Scott and everyone! I can't stop thinking about the Soft Cell/Foetus cover of Ghost Rider that Creamo Coyl played yesterday.
Avatar 11:07am northguineahills:

Coltrane is always a nice warm bubble bath....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09am steveo:

Rogers and Hammerstein sure could write 'em
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09am Mike Sin:

For a radio-station recording in 1965, this track sounds great. Elvin Jones sounds like he's recorded in stereo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10am steveo:

my bathwater!
Avatar 11:13am northguineahills:

Thought this was Pan Sonic. Ilpo Vaisanen is instantly recognizable.
Avatar 11:13am AnAnonymousParty:

Anyone interested in The Dark Side of the Moon?

  11:14am Fashion Tashjian:

Damn, this Coltrane remix is fire, hehehe))
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14am steveo:

There is no dark side in the moon, really. Matter of fact, it's all dark.
  11:15am frenchee:

wow, my brain is melting
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am steveo:

(cool photo though)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am doctorjazz:

My wife, who's a musical theater lover (but not a Coltrane fan), hates that Trane Favorite Things... Go figure...
Avatar 11:16am northguineahills:

clean up on all the aisles (for frenchee's brain).
  11:19am frenchee:

thanks, NGH! aaaagh, how about some Slim Whitman next?
Avatar 11:20am Chris from DC:

Ok, now it sounds like the stream is misfiring. In a very good way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:21am doctorjazz:

Same here, music signal is breaking up

This is the most intense band, man would I love to have seen them
Avatar 11:22am AnAnonymousParty:

Glitchy stream in Missouri too. Glitchy stream is renowned for small bass fishing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24am steveo:

sounds like a double bass to me...
Avatar 11:25am Chris from DC:

Busta's back.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28am Ike:

Heard that music break-up on 91.1 FM too. CD skip?
Avatar 11:29am Chris from DC:

That was weird, the stream started back at Busta again. Restarting fixed it.
Avatar 11:30am BigCat:

DJ Scott, what was that song?
2 or 3 songs ago there was a coll as f@ck vinyl skipping song (may be thought to've been a glitch)
Avatar 11:31am βrian:

Damn, this is lovely. And damn, I have a meeting now ...
Avatar 11:33am Chris from DC:

Don Cherry alert
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:35am doctorjazz:

Great album!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:39am doctorjazz:

Haven't heard The Montreal Tapes ,worth tracking down from what I hear
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42am doctorjazz:

There's Haden's country background
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42am G:

Heh... John Hardy snuck in there
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am WillCrete:

I always love when Charlie Haden quotes folk songs like this.... "John Henry is a Steel Driving Man" ... such true beauty
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am Scott McDowell:

It's true, it fits so nicely.
Avatar 11:47am BigCat:

I am pulling that from the .mp3 archive when it posts. Full dcredit to you sir DJ Scott. Brilliant
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:47am tim from champaign:

hahaha, good one Scott! I can never tell when the DJ is mixing it up or the stream is doing it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:48am steveo:

driving in my what?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am Ike:

That toilet paper deserved it for being the SCRATCHIEST!

(J/k, sorry, feel bad for anybody who lost their job due to that fire.)
  11:56am Brendan:

I guess when a paper mill burns it really burns. People love to stop and watch a fire. At least I did as a kid. We never had a fireplace though. I always thought it would be cool too see a factory fire. In a place that makes fireworks. And the workers running outside were bikini clad supermodels. And maybe there’s a cop saying , ‘move along, there’s nothing to see here people’.
Avatar 11:58am SueAdynamo:

are they using a chalkboard in this composition?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am doctorjazz:

Echoes of Trane (? Naima), what a fine show, Scott glad I got to hear most of it!
  11:59am Booz:

That Bill Dixon is A+. Have a great week, Ralliers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04pm coelacanth∅:
