Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:21pm
steveo:

The Monkees' I'm a Believer is "one of the fewer than forty all-time singles to have sold more than 10 million physical copies worldwide"

Also the Wyatt version "features Fred Frith on violin, Andy Summers (later of the Police) on guitar, and drums by Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, who also produced the recording. It was Wyatt's first recording after the June 1973 accident that left him a paraplegic"

Thus ends today's reading from Wikipedia.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm

Since the dopey ol' Oscars are coming up, and Fabio just mentioned the good "Crash", let's debate: Is the other "Crash" (2005) the worst movie ever to win Best Picture? Or is just ONE OF the worst movies to ever win Best Picture? (Oh man, I just typed this before noticing Tim's comment, but I'll go ahead anyway.)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm

i don't know what has won best picture and what hasn't but i'll guess that many of the winners would pretty much suck in my opinion.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm
The Oscar:

@Ike There's a real chance that Green Book will win in a couple weeks. That, Crash, and Driving Miss Daisy would make a hell of a trilogy of out-of-touch Best Picture winners.
  4:26pm
Brendan:

I like to think of the romance in Harold and Maude as romantic. It helps me sleep better than entertaining the alternative ...
