@Daniel For proposals, though you got to be willing to be flexible, a good sunset whether in the city or out can make for a beautiful moment. I prefer a park or cool spot rather than the top of a building. Easier to re-access in the future.

@ratso Been an R.E.M. addict since seeing them open for English Beat and Squeeze at the Nassau Coliseum Nov. 1982. The early stuff was a bolt out of the blue compared to everything else, but agree Lifes Rich Pageant is their best, and up there with the greatest rock albums of all time. Seem to recall Buck saying they dropped the "Byrd shit" for straight ahead rock, and that it is. And first time their controversial politics were expressed, like protecting the environment and not forcing our will on Central America.
