[Rundgren cult member alert...] There's no Rundgren cover of Goo Only Knows that I've ever heard of. There is a cover of Good Vibrations. It's pretty much a carbon copy of the Beach Boys original, maybe a hair more seventies-sounding. Todd does do Rebel Rebel live sometimes.

The song with the lyric "King of Cruelty" is "Jewel." It's on a Reeves Gabrels album called Ulysses (della notte) -- available on CD Baby. The track features Gabrels, Dave Grohl, Frank Black & David Bowie. Bonus: Another song on Ulysses is sung by Robert Smith of The Cure, who co-wrote it with Gabrels. (Gabrels joined The Cure in 2012.)
