Scratchy vanity 45s, pilfered field recordings, muddy off-the-radio sounds, homemade congregational tapes and vintage commercial gospel throw-downs; a little preachin', a little salvation, a little audio tomfoolery.

Rev Crayton:

I miss Alphonso Thomas. He was a substitute teacher when I worked in the school system as a AP. The Crayton Singers were on many programs with him. My dad was his manager when he came up from Florida. He passed some years ago. I'd love to come on your show sometime and talk about some of the artist you play. From the 50's through the 70's.
