just saw a great bbc special on women in rock ~ with an interview with tina weymouth. she had no intention of being in a band in school, but Byrne thought a woman in the band would give them an edge. then he had her cut her long hair to make her eyes look bigger. she couldn't play bass at all before she joined.

I have an uncle who gets to vote on cinematography. The selection of voters/how they vote is a joke. BUT, they do get free copies of all the movies that are nominated, though they usually don't watch all of them....Some categories get more attention than others from the voters. @EG_Astro no serious planning yet but I will definitely do it. I ride 1000-2000 miles per year on my bike and have done a lot of long rides in Michigan and Arizona. I do a 200 mile / 2 day ride from Lansing every July. I've done the 52 mile Zoo to Mackinac ride up in northern Michigan, it's beautiful up there.
