There's an Bolochistan independence movement in both Iran and Pakistan. It's pretty much a no-go area for foreigners in both countries (the US had to move a drone base and their supply line from the coast to Afganistan just for that reason.)

In Bodega Pop and Vocal Fry, Gary and Dan both have crafted extremely high-concept programs that brilliantly meet (exceed, really) the expectations of their respective conceits. This is hard to do and worth celebrating and supporting. It is much less challenging to set the relatively lower bar of "I can play anything I want because I have the freedom to do so," and then vault that bar easily. They have both concocted for themselves a far riskier challenge and every week they make awesome, captivating radio.
