Hi everybody - If you ask a question or comment that you would like me to address on air, please write it here on the board, but please keep the question comment short and to the point which will help me address it on the air.
I'm part of the 20%. Representing San Diego area, but I used to live in the footprint area and discovered WFMU there. I am doing my part to spread the word with a bumper sticker on my car.
I always enjoyed the "Listener Hour" early on Sunday mornings. It gave insight to fans of the station who aren't DJ's but they got a shot at playing their music (which is what FMU is all about). Any chance of bringing that back?
Serious question: If WFMU has not operated in the black for a while, what is the source of the funding to cover the deficit? This may be in your 990s but I can't read them that closely.
Geronimo, an on-channel booster was the object of that failure Field Marshal Freedman mentioned. When you try to add another signal on the same frequency, the interference pattern is hard to predict. Apparently it cause more destructive than constructive interference.
two questions: 1. what happens when you get a DMCA takedown from the archives, and 2. what is going on with the project to digitise all the music in the archives
I was serious when I asked this question:
If nearly 25% of pledges were new donors and the total number of donors was normal. What happened to the old 25%?
... that was why Liz B's podcasts were from the FMA ...

This was a great show thus far. Quick question: is there a map of the 91.1 broadcast area? Often on Garden State Parkway a garbage classical station bleeds over onto 91.1 when you get to exit 117.
You need much much more. . .bleagh, OK, I'm buying a lotto, to think that these *** tariffs hurt my station! Head exploding!

@SMK Excellent about you coming back! But please don’t send secret messages in your broadcast that only my dog can understand. Your Communist show had him acting quite naughty. ;P
listener - propagation is a cruel bitch. sometimes i get 90.1 in a certain stretch of the taconic way north of hudson ny. it should NOT come in there....

My cat Bosco, former mascot, does not take offense mostly because he’s now blind and deaf.
Sympathy vote
Ken, simply thank you for keeping FMU alive and solvent,... and is there a chance for a FMU decoder ring in order to better understand Andy Breckman’s compassionate, loving side?

WFMU is so important to me. You keep my sanity close to normal. Abbie normal
Haven’t been to Monty Hall in awhile, is booze still available for purchase down there?

Whenever I write a comment using my FMU app, I cannot access my FMU profile ID, photo and that I am a contributor, yardages taffy,... is that normal? Maybe I’m just abnormal?
That’s a shame about the Alan Watts people, I’ve heard about these issues from others who’ve had dealings with them. But interesting to hear that Ken was trying, that it wasn’t the station that lost interest.
Will the death of net-neutrality harm streaming not-for-profit radio?

Dale - you're right regarding signal propagation. I want to file a complaint against the classical station but a part of me fears it is FMU bleeding onto their signal.
