Time to stop hitting myself
Avatar 6:58pm Mr Fab:

Right, don't look at the playlist! I look away, so that I may be surprised.
Avatar 7:00pm Mr Fab:

Hi all, remember to refresh this page often to read the new comments. Refreshing is very refreshing.
Avatar 7:01pm Martinibomb:

Stop refreshing yourself... Stop refreshing yourself... Stop refreshing yourself...
  7:02pm Rich in Washington:

I'm gonna be listening again (and not hitting myself) while digging through records at the Goodwill. Thanks for being the soundtrack!
Avatar 7:03pm Martinibomb:

Do you regularly hit goodwil on mondays?
Avatar 7:09pm Mr Fab:

I recently found a few cool things at a Goodwill, inc a school band record (they do a Cream medley, & a couple early Chicago covers), and a Carib record by Calypso Rose, She does a song called "My Little Pussy" which the previous owner put a star next to. Still a few goodies out there in thrift-land.
Avatar 7:10pm Martinibomb:

Super fun tunes Spacebrother!
Avatar 7:13pm Mr Fab:

Oh man, this "Yellow Submarine " is such wonderful
Avatar 7:16pm Martinibomb:

yeh dug that version of yello sub!
  7:18pm Rich in Washington:

Most upbeat version of "Hungarian Suicide Song" EVER!
  7:20pm Rich in Washington:

MB: yes, i do. i have an early class that ends early, so i hit the 'wills.
Avatar 7:21pm Mr Fab:

Yeah, I thought that too, Rich. She seemed so happy to off herself.
Avatar 7:23pm Martinibomb:

Kim Fowley is the best. I think I heard this song on WFMU for the first time like 15/20 yrs ago
Avatar 7:24pm Mr Fab:

earlier today, I added this very song to the Sheena stream. Spacebrother and I thinking about Kim Fowley at the same time is pretty disturbing.
Avatar 7:28pm spacebrother:

Ok, I’m here for a few minutes!
Avatar 7:28pm Mr Fab:

hey Greg!
Avatar 7:30pm spacebrother:

Hey. Can stay for 10 or so. Nice to see the “likes,” or whatever they are here.
Avatar 7:30pm Mr Fab:

I was so happy when i came across an entire CD of "Kids Pow Wow Songs" They do versions of many other kid's show themes. Heap good stuff.
Avatar 7:32pm spacebrother:

I screwed up. “Suicide” was referenced on “McCartney” not “Ram.”
Avatar 7:33pm spacebrother:

They had that Black Lodge CD at the Autry Museum. They seemed embarrassed to sell it to me.
Avatar 7:34pm spacebrother:

Ok. Back to it. Enjoy, all!
Avatar 7:34pm Mr Fab:

Ha ha!
Avatar 7:35pm Mr Fab:

yes folks, you are hearing actual old fashioned typewriters. no other 'instruments"
  7:36pm Rich in Washington:

Off to the next Goodwill. seem to be having somewhat of a lucky streak with finding ok-ish records lately.
  7:37pm Rich in Washington:

this show's too great to miss even a minute. really digging it! Brady Bunch, even!
Avatar 7:39pm Martinibomb:

I dug that black lodge album/cd when it came out. Think it's almost 15 years old now?
Avatar 7:39pm Mr Fab:

yeah, never thought I'd actually ENJOY hearing "American Pie."
Avatar 7:39pm Martinibomb:

I can't wait until Sheena's shows are live and Rich just calls in as the roving crate digger
Avatar 7:40pm spacebrother:

Thanks, Rich!
Avatar 7:44pm Martinibomb:

Dixie McCall
Avatar 7:45pm Mr Fab:

if the FBI had listened to this version, they'd think that the lyrics are clean, but Julie sings 'em dirty.
Avatar 7:47pm Mr Fab:

Was amazed to learn years after my boyhood fandom of "Emergency" that not only was nurse Dixie the same thrush that sang "Cry Me A River," but doctor Bobby Troup was the guy that wrote "Get Your Kicks on Route 66." What a show!
Avatar 7:49pm Martinibomb:

and produced by her ex husband Jack Webb who had a massive interest in jazz
Avatar 7:57pm Mr Fab:

that sounded like that Scottish comedian guy, in the Chaps
Avatar 7:58pm Mr Fab:

Great stuff as always, thanks muchly Spacebrother
Avatar 8:00pm Martinibomb:
