I'm into a chapter on the Apocrypha and it's all best described as New Testament fanfic. One rejected Gospel depicts the young Jesus as using his Jesus powers to kill a mouthy playmate and wither a guy giving him shit. Very strong Twilight Zone/Bill Mumy vibe.
