i never had any issues of any kind until i slid it on it's side for ...100 yards? -and it slammed back down onto the road.
-still i drove it away from that scene. (until i got stopped for driving a car with 2 flat tires on the road)

the same old family friend who unloaded his 75 nova that i ended up with had 2 datsun bluebirds in the early 60s. occasionally when our car was broken or when he needed to borrow it (big '57 bel air) my mother would use his (not his wife's) datsun and i loved it!

it may have been designed for 2 batteries, like some bmws, for all the unnecessary electrical crap -one in the engine compartment, one in the trunk (or maybe back seat!)
