UK note: Protheroe has been the voice talent on a UK dating reality show for most of the 2010s...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03pm
Irwin:

The whole two-man band thing got tired quickly. Altho on Lee's 2nd album he was a one-man band. Thereafter, Frosty at the drums was an improvement.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:05pm
Kat in Chicago:

I am very fond of "Pinball" but never listened to much else from Brian Protheroe. I ought to fix that.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35pm

Richard was in many ways the genius behind the Carpenters. Arranged, composed, sang, played several instruments, created the sound. Altho IMHO, the sound was somewhat derived from the Free Design.

Sounds like a phishing scam for 7SD to harvest our personal cell phone numbers. I'm all keen on phishing now. I should go look for apps that can spoof my cell phone calls; make it look like some other number is calling.
