i've been on a search for a statue i once adored, at the Hirshhorn gallery in wash dc. back in the 80s-ish. nothing unique, just a simple rendering of young Joan of Arc, kneeling in prayer. it seems to have disappeard from the planet. the woman who is assisting me is so young, but she's doing her best...i'm baffled why SI has no record of this piece.
