Listen to this show: Pop-up listen Pop-up player!

My studio space is a mess this week with a load of gear unplugged. Hope to get it all back online by next week's show. For this week digging into some old Friendly Persuasion shows that have been mixed and mangled.

First half we hear segments of Friendly Persuasion that appeared on The Lounge King radio show in 2007, followed by an unreleased radio show mix from 2010 that never aired, Bienvenue au Québec. Hope you get a kick out of it.

I'm doing that now. Full on revamp of moving it all about. Made sketches first and measured areas even to make sure gear fits the random desk spaces, etc. Still need to set it all up. Gonna get on that this week. :)

That's more or less what I am going to have to do, Otis. Just rebuild the entire space. I am also looking at doing point-to-point cabling in an effort to get rid of the massive tangle of coiled up cables behind my mixer. It's really, really bad.

That one George Burns album is definity WRR fodder (no offense, Otis!).
I was tormenting my sweetie with songs from it a couple of years ago. She ASKED what was on it!

I swear there was an era in children's television where the statement "We need a children's show" was answered with "I know a weird person who owns a synthesizer"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm

There was also a show on my PBS station around the same time Guten Tag, Wie Gehts?

I only relatively recently learned there were later series of Look Around You. I just thought the first series was it. I sort of prefer that to the later shows, although I like almost everyone on those shows, too.

Thanks Colin and everyone listening today with comments. Happy you are enjoying the mixes. I should have the studio setup next week to resume my haphazardly mix and long monologs about my cat.

I'd say I have FMU playing 4-8 hours a day (mon-fri).

75 to 85% of the time I listen to GTDR shows and stream. Friday night is the main mothership channel
Avatar 5:42pm
Otis Fodder:

Same here Rich. I'm about 50% main station and 50% spread out across the 3 streams. Maybe Sheena's a bit more now over the past 8 or so months we have been on.

I'm not much of a chat person, but I do try to break out of my shell and post here and there, trying more and more as time goes on.

Or maybe an alternate isolated chat stream for all shows (per channel) while retaining the main commenting on playlists.
